After being a financial consultant for 7 years, and another 4 years as a leader, my awards are a summation of not my efforts, but that of my entire team. My greatest joy is in seeing my team and agency make a mark in raising industry standards and seeing consultants growing holistically as people in this career.
A desire to impact the entire industry.
The biggest goal I wish to achieve as a leader is to contribute to an overall increase in the standards of financial planning by consultants. From the way I see it, financial advice should be needs-based rather than product-focused, and I hope to educate and empower the people around me to make wise financial decisions toward their desired goals.
Ensuring every consultant succeeds.
One of the biggest obstacles in my career was the challenge of making sure every consultant succeeds in this business. Everyone has different strengths and weaknesses, and with that comes the difficulty of using a one-size-fits-all solution to groom everyone to success.
Help others achieve their fullest potential.
I believe the mark of great leadership is when we can help everyone achieve their fullest potential, regardless of the cards that they were dealt with. I always try to understand people as friends, and this enables me to better unlock their own unique personal inner drivers to achieve the results that they want in this career. We don’t have to be good to start, but we must start, to be good!
