I joined the industry right after I graduated from university, and is currently about 2 years into the business.
Building genuine connections
This industry gave me the opportunity to reconnect with all my old friends whom I never spoke to for a really long time. I’ve also became good friends with people whom my clients referred to me. Extremely thankful for the trust that all my friends have in me.
Achieving goals together with my friends
Many of my friends are at the same stage of life as me and we are all working towards similar goals – to get married, buy a house and have kids within the next 3 to 5 years. I’m glad to be able to assist them in planning for their finances to ensure that they can achieve these goals in the years to come. Can’t wait to attend their wedding and house warming.
Being an advocate
Many people are ignorant about the importance of financial planning. It is our responsibiilty to help them see the need for it and protect them against any unforeseen circumstances (eg. critical illness).
